We truly value the bond between "washi and artists". By holding "Awagami International Miniature Print Exhibition" with the artists from all over the world. We hope the understanding for the culture of washi will grow more through this exhibition.

As an open exhibition for both amateurs and professionals, we are looking forward to the registration of participants and submission of works by the artists from Japan and overseas. The exhibition is expected to tour in Japan and abroad. Selected works will be announced on the Awagami website on September 20th.

We have continued our effort in research and development of washi for the "New age". There is an inseparable relationship between printmaking and washi, Awawashi has been a particular favorite for the artist all over the world. The Printmaking exhibition has been continued since 2007 as a forum for the printmaking presentations.
